Originally introduced in 1955, the Les Paul Special has earned its place in music history, beloved by musicians for over six decades. Building on the foundation of the Les Paul Junior, it features a slab mahogany body, a chunky 50s-style mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard for that unmistakable vintage feel.
Key upgrades over the Junior include an additional rhythm-position P-90 pickup, a bound neck, wraparound bridge, and dedicated controls for each pickup, along with a 3-way toggle switch — all adding versatility without sacrificing simplicity.
