The Tube Man MkII delivers a truly tube-like overdrive, taking it far beyond your average Screamer-style pedal—and yes, it packs even more gain. Since getting real tube saturation without a cranked tube amp can be tough, traditional Tube Screamers used OP-AMP circuitry and diode clipping to create overdrive or distortion. But there’s a better way.

By using a FET transistor system, the pedal naturally produces overdrive and distortion with the same harmonic richness and smooth breakup you’d hear from an actual analog tube amp. Your leads will sustain sweeter and longer, while your rhythm stays open, expressive, and full of life.
