Authentic ’60s Les Paul Style, Tone, and Feel—Built for Any Stage
Epiphone’s long-standing relationship with Les Paul dates back to 1940, when he crafted one of the world’s first solidbody electric guitars—nicknamed “the Log”—while working nights at the original Epiphone factory in Manhattan. That groundbreaking instrument later inspired the Les Paul™ Standard, widely regarded as one of the greatest electric guitars ever made.
The Les Paul Standard 60s models from the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson™ Collection faithfully capture the look, feel, and sound of early 1960s Les Pauls. Each features a mahogany body topped with maple, and models with translucent finishes include an added AAA flame maple veneer for a classic “flame top” appearance. The mahogany neck is paired with a laurel fretboard boasting pearloid trapezoid inlays, 22 medium-jumbo frets, and a fast, comfortable 60s SlimTaper™ profile.
For tuning stability, the headstock is fitted with Grover® Rotomatic® tuners and a Graph Tech® nut, keeping your instrument dialed in so you can focus on playing. Tone comes from a perfectly balanced set of Epiphone’s acclaimed ProBucker™ pickups—a ProBucker 2 at the neck and a slightly hotter ProBucker 3 at the bridge—each with its own volume and tone controls using CTS® potentiometers.
Available in a range of stunning finishes and shipped in a Premium Gig Bag, the Epiphone Les Paul Standard 60s delivers an authentic Les Paul experience at a remarkably accessible price.
