Combining classic Les Paul Custom aesthetics with a fast-playing neck and advanced Fishman Fluence pickups, this 7-string delivers a powerful and highly adaptable sonic palette.
At the heart of the Matt Heafy Les Paul Custom Origins 7-String is a pair of custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups, giving you three distinct voices from each pickup.
The Alnico neck pickup offers:
Modern, active, high-output Alnico humbucker tone
Crisp, clean and fluid neck humbucker sounds
Glassy, scooped and hi-fi single-coil tones
The Ceramic bridge pickup provides:
Modern, active, high-output ceramic humbucker tone

Push-pull volume and tone controls provide quick access to the pickup's different voices, allowing you to switch between powerful high-gain tones, articulate cleans and versatile single-coil sounds.
The maple-capped mahogany body features modern weight relief, making the guitar comfortable to play during long rehearsals, recording sessions and live performances. The mahogany neck has a fast-playing SpeedTaper D profile, while the contoured heel provides improved access to the upper frets.
