As a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Dirnt’s unmistakable bass tone, driving rhythms, and energetic performances have helped shape generations of punk rock music.

Designed to recreate the beloved Gibson Grabber G-3 bass that Mike has used on countless tours and recordings—including Green Day’s landmark 1994 album Dookie—this signature bass celebrates the instrument behind some of punk rock’s most recognizable bass lines.

The Epiphone Mike Dirnt Grabber G-3 features a classic double-cutaway maple Grabber body paired with a 34-inch scale three-piece maple neck. The bass is fitted with an ebony fretboard (or maple on the Natural finish model), 20 medium jumbo frets, and eye-catching abalone dot inlays for enhanced playability and style.

The traditional Grabber V™ headstock is equipped with open-gear bass tuners featuring vintage-style clover buttons and a bone nut for reliable tuning stability. At the bridge, a high-density Leo Quan® Badass II™ bridge improves attack, sustain, and precise intonation adjustment. The strings run through the body and anchor with rear ferrules, delivering exceptional resonance, sustain, and overall tonal performance.
