Centered around Patrick James Eggle’s iconic acoustic body shapes, the PJE Legacy Series guitars continue to set the standard for professional craftsmanship.

Handcrafted in limited quantities, the Limited-Edition Faith PJE Legacy FG7 Earth provides players with a rare opportunity to own something truly extraordinary. The latest addition to feature Patrick James Eggle’s renowned ‘Earth’ body shape, the FG7 pairs a Solid Torrefied Sitka Spruce top with Solid American Claro Walnut back and sides, offering a visually striking and tonally refined combination. The burst finish of the top blends rich reds, burnt oranges, and warm yellows, accentuating the natural grain of the torrefied spruce.

Each top undergoes an intensive roasting, or torrefaction, process. The spruce is air-dried and then carefully heated in a controlled, low-oxygen environment to eliminate excess moisture before being reconditioned. The result is a more stable, responsive top with a sound that’s mature beyond its years—delivering enhanced projection, deep overtones, and the character of a vintage instrument that has been played for decades.

American Claro Walnut, positioned between mahogany and rosewood tonally, brings clarity and balance with a refined, smooth edge. The bass is tight and articulate, the mids are focused, and the treble sings with a bright, vocal quality. Combined with the torrefied spruce top, the FG7 offers excellent note definition and wide dynamic range.

The FG7 also features solid high-figure Flamed Maple binding, a solid Figured Ebony pickguard, a fingerboard and bridge crafted from Ebony, and bone components including the nut, saddle, and bridge pins.

For live performances, the guitar is equipped with Fishman’s advanced ‘Flex-T-Blend’ pickup and preamp system. This system blends the crisp clarity of a piezo undersaddle pickup with the nuanced tones of an internal condenser mic, and features near-flush, discreet controls on the upper bout side, maintaining the guitar’s beautiful contour without distraction.

Built upon Patrick James Eggle’s ‘Linville’ model, the Earth is a true Orchestra Model (OM) shape. While it shares some geometric traits with the acclaimed Venus, the Earth’s tonal voice and design are uniquely crafted by Patrick himself. With a 15” lower bout and a 4.45” body depth, it offers a comfortable mid-size profile that provides exceptional tonal focus and balance.
