The Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s brings the iconic Les Paul design back to its classic roots. Inspired by the legendary Gibson guitars of the early 1960s, this premium electric guitar combines timeless styling, powerful tone and exceptional playability. Celebrating Gibson’s Golden Era of innovation, the Les Paul Standard 60s delivers the authentic look, feel and sound that has made the Les Paul one of the world’s most renowned electric guitar designs.
The Les Paul Standard 60s features a solid, non-weight-relieved mahogany body paired with an AA figured maple top. The mahogany provides the warm, rich midrange and powerful sustain associated with the Les Paul, while the figured maple top adds definition, bite and visual appeal.
The mahogany neck features Gibson’s fast and comfortable SlimTaper™ profile, making the guitar ideal for extended playing sessions. A bound Indian rosewood fingerboard features 22 medium jumbo frets and classic acrylic trapezoid inlays, creating an unmistakably vintage-inspired appearance.
With a 12-inch fingerboard radius, the Les Paul Standard 60s feels comfortable for everything from first-position chords to expressive bends further up the neck. Its smooth, low action provides effortless playability while maintaining excellent note clarity.
At the heart of the Les Paul Standard 60s are a pair of Gibson 60s Burstbucker™ pickups, equipped with Alnico 5 magnets for a dynamic, articulate and powerful Gibson tone.
The pickups are hand-wired to individual volume and tone controls using audio taper potentiometers, with Orange Drop® capacitors providing classic tonal shaping. The traditional three-way pickup selector allows you to choose either pickup individually or combine both for a wide range of tones.
The individual volume and tone controls also let you blend the pickups and fine-tune your sound, making the Les Paul Standard 60s equally suited to clean tones, blues, classic rock and high-gain playing.
The Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s is fitted with a classic ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and lightweight aluminium Stop Bar tailpiece for reliable performance, sustain and tuning stability.
Grover® Rotomatic® tuning machines with classic kidney-style buttons work alongside a Graph Tech® nut to provide smooth tuning and dependable stability. The guitar is finished with iconic gold Top Hat control knobs with silver reflectors, inspired by the original Les Paul Standard models of the early 1960s.
A Gibson hardshell case is included, providing secure protection for your guitar whether it is stored at home or taken on the road.
