Construction and Electronics
The Ibanez GRG131DX-BKF is constructed from a Poplar body, providing you with a full and balanced tone. A bolt-on Maple neck will deliver a snappy response with lots of mid-range cut, ideal for riffs and power chords that need to punch through a busy mix. The neck has a comfortable profile, with Ibanez's signature thin feel. This is great for smaller hands, letting beginners play chords without feeling any fatigue or strain.
A pair of Ibanez's Infinity R pickups will provide you with a number of tones, suitable for a range of styles. With lots of distortion they sound super-crunchy and saturated, amazing for heavy riffs and even solos.
