The Blackstar Debut 50R is a straightforward, all-analogue guitar amplifier designed for players who value great tone and ease of use over complex digital modelling features. Ideal for use with pedals, it delivers authentic sound and intuitive controls, making it an excellent choice for beginners and experienced guitarists alike. Whether you're practising at home, rehearsing with a band, recording, or performing live, the Debut 50R provides the power and flexibility to handle a variety of playing situations.
At the heart of the amp is a discrete MOSFET preamp that delivers warm, responsive tones across two footswitchable channels: Clean and Overdrive. Blackstar's patented ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) tone control allows you to shape your sound from classic British voicing to a more modern American character. Built-in digital reverb offers both Plate and Hall settings, adding depth and ambience to your playing.
The Debut 50R also includes a switchable power reduction from 50 watts down to 5 watts, making it easy to achieve great tones at lower volumes. A line input lets you play along with backing tracks or music, while the speaker-emulated line output enables silent practice or direct recording without sacrificing tone. An effects loop allows seamless integration of modulation, delay, and reverb pedals, and stereo headphone playback enhances the listening experience when using external audio sources.
