About the Cream-Tone:

The G2D Cream-Tone Overdrive proudly channels the legendary Texas blues sound, delivering tones reminiscent of the iconic bell-like overdrive made famous by Stevie Ray Vaughan—think Stratocaster firepower paired with the soul of a screaming TS808. But make no mistake—this isn’t just another Tube Screamer clone.

Handcrafted in New Zealand, the Cream-Tone exudes vintage character, both in tone and appearance. It features premium components—some specially sourced from the UK—and comes housed in a stylish brown-and-cream aluminium casing, complete with a retro Fender-style logo that nods to the '60s.

The pedal features four interactive, vintage-style control knobs:

• Volume – balances your clean amp tone with the pedal’s output

• Tone – shapes the low-end response

• Solo – adds warmth and adjusts solo boost

• Drive – sets the level of overdrive

Two dedicated footswitches (Bypass and Solo/Blues mode) with LED indicators provide seamless control on stage.

What really sets the Cream-Tone apart is G2D’s clever internal DIP switch system, offering four additional EQ settings. These give players fine-tuned control over bass and gain response—ideal for tailoring the pedal to both Fender-style single-coils and Gibson-style humbuckers, depending on your guitar and musical style.
