This pre loved Guild F1512 12 string was originally right handed but was professionally converted by Charlie Chandler. It is in good condition with a just a few small dents on the front of the body above the soundhole and on top of the headstock. An under saddle pickup has been installed but it is completely passive so it will require an external preamp to work correctly (not supplied)
The Guild F-1512 Natural is a jumbo-bodied 12-string acoustic from Guild’s Westerly Collection. It’s designed to deliver a big, rich, chiming 12-string sound with strong projection and depth. This is a full-sized, professional-grade instrument suited for stage and studio use.
Body shape: Jumbo – large, rounded body for maximum volume and resonance
Top: Solid Sitka spruce (clear, bright, responsive)
Back & sides: Solid Indian rosewood (deep lows, rich overtones, strong sustain)
Bracing: Scalloped X-bracing for enhanced resonance
Finish: High-gloss natural polyurethane
The jumbo body gives it strong bass response and impressive projection, which helps balance the natural shimmer of a 12-string.
Neck: African mahogany with a comfortable C profile
Scale length: 25.5"
Nut width: Approx. 1 7/8" (roomy spacing for 12 strings)
Fingerboard: Rosewood with mother-of-pearl dot inlays
Frets: 20
The wider nut and full scale length help maintain string separation and clarity, which is important on a 12-string.
Rosewood bridge with bone saddle
Bone (or NuBone) nut depending on production run
Guild G-Shield sealed tuners
Tortoiseshell-style pickguard
Stable tuning is especially important on 12-strings, and the hardware is designed to handle the higher string tension.
Big, full low end
Sparkling, chiming highs
