What it feels and sounds like

The SR305E is very much a modern player's bass. Its slim SR neck and relatively narrow string spacing make it comfortable to play, particularly if you're accustomed to four-string basses and are moving to a 5-string.

The PowerSpan pickups provide plenty of output and definition. Combined with the active 3-band EQ and Power Tap switch, you can get everything from a fat, aggressive humbucker tone to a more open and articulate sound.

It's especially well suited to metal, rock, progressive music, funk and contemporary pop, where the extended low-B range and flexible electronics are particularly useful.
