The Schnobel Tone Horse Power is a low-to-medium gain overdrive pedal designed to provide exceptional clean headroom, dynamic response, and powerful output. Based on the company's Daily Driver circuit, it offers less gain but significantly more output, making it ideal for pushing the front end of an amplifier into natural edge-of-breakup tones while retaining clarity and articulation.

Controls

The pedal features four controls and a three-position toggle switch:

Volume – Sets the overall output level, with enough output to drive an amplifier into natural overdrive.
Gain – Adjusts the amount of overdrive, ranging from clean boost to rich edge-of-breakup tones.
Bass – Boosts or cuts the low frequencies to match different guitars and amplifiers.
Treble – Boosts or cuts the high frequencies for added clarity or a smoother top end.
Three-position High-Cut switch
One position provides a brighter, more open response.
The centre position is flat.
The opposite position rolls off additional high frequencies for a warmer, smoother sound.

The Horse Power is hand-built using through-hole components, features true bypass switching, top-mounted input/output and power jacks, and operates from a standard 9V centre-negative power supply.
