A traditional Spanish bandurria by Vicente Tatay Tomás (VITATO), Valencia, bearing the original Fábrica de Guitarras, Bandurrias y Laúdes label. This is a classic Spanish folk instrument with a distinctive pear-shaped body, spruce-coloured soundboard and decorative rosette surrounding the soundhole. This pre owned item is in good condition with a few signs of light wear including a fine lacquer scratch on the side.
The bandurria features six courses of paired strings (12 strings in total), a short scale neck and traditional Spanish-style construction. The instrument has an attractive warm natural finish and retains its original character and appearance.
It is presented in good used condition, with some signs of age and cosmetic wear consistent with its years. There are some areas of wear around the bridge and tuning hardware.
