The PRS Limited Edition CE 24 Special in McCarty Sunburst pairs the signature snap of PRS bolt-on construction with an expanded and highly versatile tonal range. Limited to just 1,500 instruments worldwide for 2025, this model is crafted for players who want modern flexibility without sacrificing classic PRS build quality. With 24 frets and a familiar 25" scale length, it moves effortlessly from pristine cleans to full, saturated drive across a wide range of musical styles.
The defining feature of the CE 24 Special is its humbucker/single-coil/humbucker pickup layout. PRS 85/15 pickups in the bridge and neck positions are joined by a distinctive NS-01 single-coil in the middle, delivering a broad spectrum of tones via a 5-way blade switch. A bolt-on maple neck with a Pattern Thin profile and smooth satin finish ensures fast, comfortable playability, while the mahogany body topped with maple provides balanced resonance, clarity, and sustain.
Designed to meet the demands of the stage, the CE 24 Special is equipped with PRS’s patented tremolo bridge and Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons, offering exceptional tuning stability and expressive vibrato control.
