From the pioneering Shergold 12-string guitar and bass double-neck played by Genesis’ Mike Rutherford in the 1970s to our latest generation of instruments, our philosophy remains the same: to create guitars that inspire creativity and give players the freedom to develop their own distinctive sound.

The Shergold Telstar Standard 12-String continues this tradition. While retaining the unmistakable shimmer and harmonic richness of a 12-string, the Telstar 12 is designed to take your playing into new territory. Designed in the UK by renowned British luthier Patrick James Eggle, its performance-focused construction encourages experimentation, delivering everything from expansive textures and powerful octave-driven riffs to chiming melodies and atmospheric soundscapes.

The Telstar 12 features a poplar body paired with a maple neck and laurel fingerboard. Its fixed 6-string through-body / 6-string through-bridge design provides excellent tuning stability and precise intonation, with 12 individually adjustable saddles allowing for accurate setup across every string.

Finished in striking solid Black with a high-gloss finish, the Telstar Standard 12-String is equipped with two FilterSonic Humbucker pickups, completing an instrument that combines versatile performance with Shergold’s bold and unmistakable design.
