Developed in collaboration with Gibson Custom, the Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue is a highly authentic recreation of one of the most sought-after vintage electric guitars ever made. Updated with premium materials and vintage-correct specifications, it delivers the look, feel, and tone of the original ’59 Les Paul Standard.
This reissue features a solid mahogany body paired with a carved maple top and AAA flame maple veneer for stunning visual appeal and rich tonal depth. The one-piece mahogany neck is shaped to a comfortable 1959 Rounded Medium “C” profile and includes a long neck tenon for enhanced sustain and resonance. A rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays completes the classic aesthetic.
Built for true vintage performance, this model includes a Gibson-style “open book” headstock, VOS (Vintage Original Sheen) finish, and premium hardware throughout. It is equipped with Gibson Custombucker humbucking pickups for authentic PAF-style tone, along with CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, and 50s-style wiring for rich, dynamic response.
High-quality hardware includes a Switchcraft selector switch and 1/4" output jack, an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with historic lightweight tailpiece, and Epiphone Deluxe vintage tuners with Keystone buttons for stable tuning and classic styling.
To complete the package, the guitar comes supplied with a vintage-style brown and pink hard case for secure storage and transport.
