Ibanez GRGR221PA-AQB Aqua Burst

The Ibanez GRGR221PA is part of the GIO series, designed as an entry-level option, and features a striking Aqua Burst finish with a matching headstock. The body is crafted from Okoume, a sustainable tonewood from Central Africa that offers a lighter alternative to mahogany, delivering a rich, full sound with a broader dynamic range and brighter highs. The eye-catching finish is enhanced by a Poplar Burl Art Grain top, which mimics the exotic swirling pattern of tree burl, giving the wood a unique, visually appealing effect. Poplar’s lightweight nature also contributes to clear midrange tones and an even overall sound.

The guitar is equipped with a Maple neck and a Purpleheart fretboard, bound for a sleek look, and features White Sharktooth inlays for added visual flair. It also includes two IBZ-6 pickups at the bridge and neck, as well as all-black hardware to complete the bold aesthetic.
