The RGMS8PB is an eight-string solid-body electric guitar from Ibanez’s RG series, launched for 2025.

This model features a multi-scale design with fanned frets, offering a 27.2" (692mm) scale length on the eighth string and a 25.5" (648mm) scale on the first. This configuration helps balance string tension across the fretboard, delivering a more dynamic tone while enhancing playability. The ergonomic fret layout supports natural hand movement, making it easier to play with speed and comfort across the neck.

Aesthetically striking, the RGMS8PB showcases a poplar burl top over a nyatoh body, paired with a bolt-on maple and walnut neck. It’s equipped with a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard featuring split offset white dot inlays. Key hardware includes individual Mono-rail fixed bridges for improved string separation and sustain, two Array-8 MS humbucking pickups for powerful tone, and Ibanez die-cast tuners for reliable stability.
