In a very good used condition - only marks of any note are a few light scuffs / scratches, and where the previous owner had screwed caster wheels to the side of the sub unit. This has left holes where the screw were located - this does not affect the sound or function of the system at all. Includes fitted EV covers.

EV Evolve 50 Portable Column PA System

The Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50 is a powerful, portable column PA system designed for live performances, DJs, events, presentations and professional sound reinforcement. Powered by a 1000 W Class-D amplifier and Electro-Voice QuickSmartDSP, the EVOLVE 50 delivers impressive sound quality, high output and easy setup in a compact, portable package.

The three-component system features a 12-inch powered subwoofer, an aluminium pole and an eight-driver column array. The wooden, ported subwoofer enclosure delivers extended low-frequency response down to 37 Hz, providing deep, powerful bass for music and live applications.

The column array incorporates eight 3.5-inch neodymium drivers, working with the 12-inch subwoofer to produce up to 127 dB SPL. Eight composite waveguides provide controlled high-frequency dispersion with 120° horizontal coverage and 40° asymmetrical vertical coverage, helping deliver consistent sound to both seated and standing audiences.

The aluminium sub pole connects securely to the subwoofer using a magnetic connection, while the column array is gravity-held in place. Signal routing between the components is handled internally, making the EVOLVE 50 quick and straightforward to assemble. The sub pole and column array are supplied in a convenient carrying bag for easy transportation.

QuickSmartDSP & Easy Control

The integrated QuickSmartDSP processing engine provides a range of features for simple setup and professional sound control. Four presets — Music, Live, Speech and Club — allow you to quickly optimise the system for different applications. The system also includes a three-band EQ, five user-programmable presets, output delay, +15V phantom power, limiter status monitoring, input level control and metering, plus master volume control for accurate gain management.

Bluetooth Control & Audio Streaming

The Electro-Voice QuickSmart Mobile app uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) technology to provide wireless configuration, control and monitoring of up to six EVOLVE 50 systems simultaneously. High-resolution Bluetooth audio streaming also allows convenient wireless playback for background music, intermissions, breakout rooms and musical accompaniment.
