Irresistible Bolt-On Tone and Feel

From the earliest days of rock and roll, the fast attack and lively response of a bolt-on neck guitar have played a defining role in shaping iconic tones. These qualities remain essential for players looking to express themselves with clarity and articulation. The CE 24 blends PRS’s classic tonewood recipe—a mahogany back paired with a maple top—with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard. A Pattern Thin neck carve and satin nitro finish deliver a smooth, natural feel that’s immediately comfortable and hard to put down.

Enhancing the guitar’s inherent clarity and tonal range, the CE 24 is equipped with PRS 85/15 pickups, engineered to provide balanced response with extended highs and lows. The control layout features a volume control, push/pull tone knob, and a 3-way toggle switch, offering six versatile, performance-ready sounds.

The CE 24 is also outfitted with PRS Phase III tuners, showcasing an elegant open-back design, unplated brass shafts, and a precise, player-friendly gear ratio for reliable tuning stability.

Originally introduced in 1988, the CE brought PRS craftsmanship together with the unmistakable snap and sparkle of bolt-on construction—an identity that continues to define the CE 24 today.
