This 212 has a mix of Celestion Vintage 30 & G12H Anniversary speakers in a closed-back design. It was developed especially for the Sheriff series amplifier heads.

IDEAL FOR:

A portable powerhouse rig when paired with The Sheriff 22 & 44. Also works well with VX The Kraken, RD1 and BD1. When you hear one, you’ll realise why plenty of former 4×12 fans have ditched their quad boxes for these.

SPEAKER CHARACTERISTICS:

The Vintage 30 is a very efficient (100dB), relatively powerful, large-magnet (Ceramic, 50 ounce) 12-inch driver. Clear highs, projecting upper mids and strong bottom end make it a favourite with players who like modern gained sounds and/or high headroom cleans with minimal speaker breakup/distortion. Here it’s paired with a Celestion G-12H Anniversary (also 100dB), noted for its contribution to classic ’60s and ’70s rock: plenty of bottom-end tightness, top-end clarity, punch and aggression. Pairing these speakers (the G12H is in the top) adds a touch of ‘vintage’ classic rock tone and feel compared with the dual Celestion Vintage 30 version (V212-VV). If you want a more ‘vintage’ still, try the V212-VC with G12M-65 Creambacks.

Victory speaker cabinets are hand built in England using redwood pine for top and sides and quality Baltic birch ply for backs and baffles. Our speaker baffles are angled back by 2-3 degrees to help with projection towards you when you’re playing. They’re finished in black bronco vinyl (cream for the V112C and V212VC) with vintage black woven grille cloth to match aesthetically – and of course tonally – with our heads.
